About me:

 

My name is Maria Ivanova and I create digital art, paintings, illustrations and animated films.

 

Sometimes of my works look like digital paintings, sometimes like photographs. They are like captured moments and extend beyond their borders: something was happening before the depicted scene and something continues to happen after it. I love the feel of mystery and that something is left untold. I think there is a lot of freedom in open endings

 

I was born and live in beautiful St Petersburg, Russia.

    • Beachworld (2012)

    Short animated (25 min) film "Beachworld" (2012) based on short story by Stephen King.

    The rights to this project were bought via the Dollar Baby contract. The Dollar Baby is an arrangement where S.King grants permission to producers to adapt one of his short stories for $1.
